Method is a series of steps taken to acquire knowledge.
Methodology is a body of methods, rules, and postulates employed by a discipline: a particular procedure or a set of procedure.
In my own understanding, method is like a main procedure or process to do or to make something. It is like a formula to a problem. While methodology is a particular or specific method. It is a step or a process on a specific formula to solve the problem.

The top-tier journals were publisher have outstanding reputation and as the best in their fields. Example of the most top-tier journals are CSP, ACM, i3E and others who are been in the top. The some factors are (1) maintain the high quality standard of the journal; (2) it is very good, means the journal really interest the audience; (3) it defines all the possible key concepts in the papers; (4) Successful publishing strategies: (a)Theory development (concept without data),(b)Construct development (new /refined concept to existing theory or research), (c)Generalization (replication on metastudy), (d)Practice.(Denise M. How do you know if a piece of research work is good or not? how are they evaluated?
There are a lot of methods in considering a research method, if it is good or not. These are the following:
1.Define and articulate a research question (formulate a research hypothesis)
2.Identify possible sources of information in many types and formats
3.Judge the scope of the project
4.Reevaluate the research question based on the nature and extent of information available and the parameters of the research project.
5.Select the most appropriate investigative methods (surveys, interviews, experiments) and research tools (periodical indexes, databases, Web sites)
6.Plan the research project
7.Retrieve information using a variety of methods (draw on a repetoire of skills)
8.Refine the search strategy as necessary
9.Write and organize useful notes and keep track of sources
10.Evaluate sources using appropriate criteria
11.Synthesize, analyze, and integrate information sources and prior knowledge
12.Revise hypothesis as necessary
13.Use information effectively for a specific purpose
14.Understand such issues as plagiarism, ownership of information (implications of copyright to some extent), and costs of information
15.Cite properly and give credit for sources of ideas

What do you think is the role of research topic in deciding your future career?
Research is an activity wherein you can measure your intellectual capacity on how you can use it in a way. Finding specific topic which you think that interest you and doing some research out of it can help you develop and enhance your skills in the field that you choose to improvise. Doing some studies and researches may help you evaluate the things you really want to do in the near future. Doing some research or studies also, you can develop and you discover new knowledge that will help you to expand your understanding on the things that you’ve been studying. And also, because of the eagerness and curiosity you have shown to study the specific topic or question you want and which you think that you’re good at in such field this will help you to visualize the things what you really want to achieve in the future.
