Research Updates

At last waiting for approval is done. Thank You Sir for the consideration..hehe But still, its very hard to come-up a good documentation for my topic.

This topic is huge since it is in the developmental stage but it is interesting. I reviewed a lot of related literature and definitions about grid computing. I'm quite confused with the definitions given by groups of publishers sometimes but i think they were referring to the same thought. Hoping to search and find more and to know more about grid computing.

Grid Computing

Grid computing is an emerging computing model that provides the ability to perform higher throughput computing by taking advantage of many networked computers to model a virtual computer architecture that is able to distribute process execution across a parallel infrastructure. Grid Computing is a high performance level of a collection of resources.

Objectives:
1. Impact. The response of the users or the clients in using grid computing.
2. Reliability. Quality of resources.
3. Advantage and disadvantage. The pros and cons that will occur in using grid computing.
4. Virtual Environment concept. How do Grid Computing works.

Output:

Solution of the following issue concerning the continuous development of grid computing.

Research Topic

Comparison between Grid Computing and Cloud Computing

Grid computing is a form of distributed computing whereby a "super and virtual computer" is composed of a cluster of networked, loosely-coupled computers, acting in concert to perform very large tasks. This technology has been applied to computationally-intensive scientific, mathematical, and academic problems through volunteer computing, and it is used in commercial enterprises for such diverse applications as drug discovery, economic forecasting, seismic analysis, and back-office data processing in support of e-commerce and web services.

Cloud computing is a computing paradigm in which tasks are assigned to a combination of connections, software and services accessed over a network. This network of servers and connections is collectively known as "the cloud." Computing at the scale of the cloud allows users to access supercomputer-level power. Using a thin client or other access point, like an iPhone, BlackBerry or laptop, users can reach into the cloud for resources as they need them. For this reason, cloud computing has also been described as "on-demand computing."

EVAT: Solution for Economic Crisis

Promoting Value Added Tax in the society is indeed helpful in developing new projects and activities for the Filipino people.

Objectives:
1. to identify the positive and negative impact in the society.
2. to determine what are the contribution to help develop our country.
3. to show how VAT is applied and use in order to help the people in need.
4. to identify what part of the community will be greatly affected when it is executed.
5. to show the fairness of having VAT between the producer and the consumer.

FREE EDUCATION: Key to Give Children a Brighter Future

Many children in our country were not able to go to school and others were not able to finish there degree because of some circumstances specifically financial matters.

Objectives:
1. to show the importance of education.
2. to determine which level where children are not able to finish there course.
3. to identify methods to achieve this program.
4. to help achieve their goals in life.
5. to identify the value of education for children, themselves, and for the society they stand for.

UNEMPLOYED TO EMPLOYED: Promoting Jobs for Unemployed People

Many people are unemployed because of what they attain in life like some were not able to finish their degree, or others don't have any experience.

Objectives:
1. provide a training courses to meet the skill requirement for jobs.
2. to promote programs for unemployed people.
3. provide education and workshop programs to unemployed people to encourage them in finding ways on how to overcome such problem.
4. to provide a pathway approach to all unemployed to be employed.
5. to develop opportunities and appropriate support for unemployed people.
