Research is an activity wherein you can measure your intellectual capacity on how you can use it in a way. Finding specific topic which you think that interest you and doing some research out of it can help you develop and enhance your skills in the field that you choose to improvise. Doing some studies and researches may help you evaluate the things you really want to do in the near future. Doing some research or studies also, you can develop and you discover new knowledge that will help you to expand your understanding on the things that you’ve been studying. And also, because of the eagerness and curiosity you have shown to study the specific topic or question you want and which you think that you’re good at in such field this will help you to visualize the things what you really want to achieve in the future.

yeah your right....
as what we know about identifying a research topic, it should somethinfg that interest us, and these are the topics that inline with IT (our field of study. Making a research to enhance or developed something in our own field will somehow leads us to our future career...
well based with what you have posted, in doing a research, intellectual capacity is really needed. the capacity to make the readers to be interested with what you have studied.
